Yariv Horowitz began his career as an army photographer while doing national service in his native Israel in the early 90's. His powerful and subjective imagery soon got him noticed and upon leaving the army quickly ascended to one of Israel's most sort after photographers.

Yariv quickly moved over into Commercials and Music Videos and soon established himself as Israel's leading commercials director. In the past 10 years he has directed a diverse roster of over 200 commercials for many market leading companies including Pepsi, Snapple, Wrangler Jeans, Bodyshop and a whole bevy of car and insurance companies.

Although Israeli based, Yariv spends much of his time in the US and Europe shooting spots for companies around the world. Yariv has done extensive work in Eastern Europe, East and West Coast USA as well as numerous exotic locales from Thai beaches to the streets of London. When David Bowie did his only Israeli concert it was Yariv who was called to direct the accompanying TV show.

He has a strong visual flair and is just as creative with cutting edge visual effects as he is with performance and narrative. Balagan are proud to represent him in commercials and music videos in England and look forward to creating an exciting body of work with him.
